Podgorica Airport is an international airport located in Golubovci, 11 km south of Podgorica, the capital of Montenegro. It is located in the middle of the country and connects the coast in the south (Budva, Petrovac, Bar, Ulcinj…) with the mountains in the north of Montenegro (Kolašin, Žabljak…). The airport was rebuilt in 2006 and officially opened on May 14 of the same year.
