SHKODER - ALBANIA
Shkoder on Bojana, one of the oldest cities in the southern part of Europe is surrounded by Shkoder Lake, and Bojana and Drim rivers. The symbol of the town is a combination of three different religious monuments situated at the very heart of Shkoder: an orthodox church, a cathedral and a mosque. They are symbols of hope, faith and reconciliation. Discover the history of The Rozafa Citadel that has dominated the city and defied time for more than 2000 years. Venetian masks recognizable by their decorations, decorated with jewels, crystals and feathers, refined and glamorous are a kind of work of art. Each has a name, symbol and purpose.
- The trip starts at 7:00 am from Herceg Novi. The journey continues by ferry and goes on through Tivat and the beautiful Budva Riviera. At the restaurant just above the famous town-hotel St. Stefan we will make a 20 minutes break, so that you can take some excellent photos of the famous spot.
- Around 10:40 am you will reach Sukobin, the border crossing between Montenegro and Albania, where a local guide will be waiting to join us. On the way to Shkoder, you will enjoy Drim river sightseeing.
- Upon arrival in Shkoder, you will have a 1 hour tour of the Rozafa fortress, which dominates over the city and is one of the most important monuments in Albania.
- The estimated time for sightseeing of the gallery and workshop of Venetian masks and the city center with three religious sites (Church, Cathedral and Mosque) is 2 hours.
- Then there is a 1 hour lunch break at a local national restaurant.
- After lunch there is a free time for 1 hour.
- Around 4:00 pm we depart to Herceg Novi.
- Return to Herceg Novi is planned around 8:00 pm.

For a trip without guide services, ticket for gallery and workshop with Venetian masks and lunch included, the COST is 32 € per person.

CHILDREN’S DISCOUNT:
- Children under 2 years of age have a 100% discount on the price of their ticket on the everyday trip organized by “Trend Travel” travel agency if they don’t have their own seat and don’t consume food or drinks.
- Children aged 2-11 have a 20% discount on the price of their ticket on the everyday trip organized by “Trend Travel” travel agency. The discount implies that children have their own seat and that food and drink consumption is included (where included at all).
EXCURSION CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY (IN CASE THE PASSENGERS CANCEL):
- A full refund will be made if the notice of cancellation is given until 2 pm, one day before the excursion.
- A 50 % refund will be made if the notice of cancellation is given after 2 pm, one day before the excursion.
- No refunds will be made if the notice of cancellation is given on the day of excursion.
EXCURSION CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY (IN CASE THE AGENCY CANCELS):
- A full refund will be made in case the agency cancels any excursion through lack of demand or in states of emergency.
- In case of unpredictable circumstances (waits at the border, traffic jams, road closures, tourist sites closures…), the agency reserves the right to change the program of excursions.
- In case of a partially fulfilled program of excursion or in case of excursion cancellation due to a natural disaster (flood, fire, earthquake…), the agency does not assume any responsibility.
